Palmerston North Sept 8 the Supreme Court returned a true bill against Letitia Broad for abandoning a child at Wanganui with sentence deferred. Also J Whitby jailed four years for forgery at Shannon and Thomas M Quinn six months for theft at Dannevirke. In Temaru a youth Moore was found guilty of stealing from a drunken man and given probation. In Oamaru a decree nisi granted on Chapin and Lowden divorce petition with costs awarded.
