Compensation Case Dismissed In Napier Breakwater Accident
Wellington October 12 Arbitration Court dismissed Regalado Kells claim for six weeks of compensation after a bicycle accident during meal hour considered as a suspension of employment. Kells worked on the steamer Rakanoa discharging coal at Napier breakwater on March 28. He left for lunch and returned to find the mishap occurred en route. The court found no authority to treat the meal hour as continue employment.
