At the Rakaia live stock sale held Thursday there were fairly large entries but poor demand, most sheep passed in. The Company sold 16 ewes at 1d, 40 ewes at 6d, and 80 lambs at 18s. A line of 1000 lambs were passed in. The New Zealand Farmers Cooperative Association sold 100 wether lambs at 9s 9d and one yearling steer at 15s. Messrs H Mateon and Co offered 280 lambs, passed in at 8s.
