Royal Visit Schedule Includes Address and Sports Day
The program outlines a guard of honour and a royal arrival with a band performing the National Anthem. The Mayor reads a combined Welcome from Town and Country, then the Prince replies. He inspects a guard and walks among school children and returned soldiers before leaving by train. Afternoon features children’s sports hockey and seven a side football. Free hot water and milk are reported.
