Wheat sales and oat markets ease at Cremtonorca

In Cremtonorca on March 1 a fair wheat trade occurred with buyers accepting higher offers. Hunter and Tuscan led at 3s 4d to 3s 8d per bushel with Pearl and Tuscan around 3s to 3s 8d. Oats remain scarce and firm with no notable price advance. oatsbeat coal also firm as sellers seek higher bids.

Timaru March Wheat market shows firm tone with Tuscan and Vulvet at 3 140, red chaff 1d at handy stations, seconds 23 7d to Ys 8d, fowl wheat 7a 9d to an idd. Oste market steady with Gar tons 25 5d to 28 64d, Vanish 2s 4d, Duna 26 Gd to 2s 6d at country stations. Barley limited with values 36 Gd to 3a 9d. potatoes see forward delivery inquiries but no sales yet.

Wheat prices held steady with local rates unchanged as buyers remained active and telegraph sales dominated. Oats and chaff showed higher asks than outside markets with limited merchant activity, and farmers quoted prices for feed grades while buyers offered modest levels for prime oats and collotal shipments.
