Sale of 100 Clydesdale horses at Clinton auction

The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand reports a highly successful sale at Clinton on Friday offering 100 Clydevale estate horses. Draft clydesdales, brood mares, two year-olds, fillies, foals, hackney stock and unbroken youngsters drew strong bidding from Otago and Southland buyers. Royal Stuart topped at 87 guineas. Faker sold for 20 guineas amid brisk competition. prices ranged for draught youngsters brood mares and foal lots with multiple lots selling well.
