Ashburton By Laws curb motor speed to 12 mph
The Ashburton Borough Council proposes by laws under the Municipal Corporations Act and Motor Regulation Act. The rules set speed limits of ten mph on certain streets and twelve mph on others, and six mph at corners crossings and footpath crossings. A Special Meeting on Monday July 8 1912 at 7 15 p m will consider confirmation. Town Clerk Alfred McClure.
