Commodity price rounds from Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide

Wheat firm in Sydney with Chick 3s 6d to 3s 9d and milling 8s 10d. Oats show Victorian Algerian 2s 8d to 2s 10d and Tasmanian White 8s. Barley, Maize, Bran, Potatoes, Onions, Butter, Bacon listed with varied prices. Melbourne notes weaker wheat at 8s 9d to 8s 10d and other grains. Adelaide reports dull wheat with 5s 9d nominal, flour at 8 5s to 8 10s and bran tollard 10d.

Addington Live Stock Market Report Christchurch June 12

At the Addington live stock market large entries of fat sheep and lambs and fat cattle, with moderate yardings of other stock. Prices showed firmer prime fat lambs and advances for pigs, while store cattle were largely unsold though dairy cows sold better. fat sheep maintained value with some softness late, and store sheep included wethers, lambs, and aged ewes.

Burnside stock sale reports mixed prices and smaller lamb yarding

At Burnside stock sale Dunedin on June 12 about 1800 sheep, 1500 lambs and 235 cattle were yarded. Wethers ranged 20s 6d to 25s 6d, ewes to 22s, lambs 17s 6d to 21s, pet lambs to 14s, cattle £10 10s to £11 10s, heifers £6 10s to £7 10s, pigs with varied prices. Lamb demand eased about 1s per head while cattle and baconers showed mixed movement.

Clearing sale at Wakenti sells draught horses and farm gear

Messrs Jriedlander Bros Ltd held a Wakenti clearing sale on behalf of Mr I Holland who recently disposed of his farm. A large crowd from Little River and Reefton attended.重点 items included draught horses, grass seed sowers, ploughs, reapers, binders, disc harrows, and chaff stacks selling from £17 to £53. Farmers bought cows at £3 10s to £5 5s.
