Death notice of Mrs Morton in Dunedin era obituary
Obituary from London dated February 23 notes the death in Dunedin of the widow of the late Mr J W Morton a well known Christchurch figure. She emigrated with her husband and young family in 1860 and leaves four sons and four daughters all in New Zealand. Eldest son Charles Morton owns the Commercial Hotel at Oxford.
