Coldstream Road Board Meeting Notes and Holiday Activities
The Coldstream Road Board met last Thursday with chairman W Mce Keage and members W Jewell and H Wills. They discussed transfers on Kelman Settlement, crown land exchanges, and the Rivers Commission report. The board opposed Geraldine County Council control of the Rangitata river and planned action via Ashburton County. Cemetery work, cocksfoot applications, overdue rate penalties, and unavailable pipes were noted. Local road repairs and grading used road-side material were reported. The day concluded with a children's program, prize giving, and Christmas gifts to pupils, plus sewing and attendance prizes.
