McNab Finds Mitchell Collection Lacking NZ Manuscripts
Robert McNab, back from Australia, inspected the Mitchell collection but found no New Zealand manuscripts to add to his book. He praised the collection as superb in early Australian literature. In Sydney he saw NZ officers preventing anthrax spread at bone factories and visited Parramatta orchards investigating measures against fruit fly and codlin moth.
