English Duke’s nephew renounces fortune for Russian peasant wife
A Quebec despatch reports Arthur Fortescue, nephew of the Duke of Portland, has given up wealth and a possible title to marry a Russian Doukhobor girl he met in western Canada. The couple wed under Doukhobor customs, despite his Oxford honors and university athletics notoriety.
