Film programme at His Majesty's Theatre draws mixed reviews
A moderate audience saw new films headlined by A Daughter of Eve though no standout scenes emerged. The New Zealand Animated Gazette suffered from hazy flicker while Suspicions Henry was a distinct success. Won by a Child pleased, Leopard Avenger was repellent, City of Jaipur offered fair scenes, and The Fixer and Mothers Lady Boy provided decent comedy. The same programme repeats tonight.
