A Parker Company notice touts low prices on Noble Milling Co. flours including Noble's Best, Star and Supreme varieties sold by the barrel or sacks. It lists additional sundry items such as Buckwheat, Prepared Flour, Pears, coffee, tea, syrup, and assorted canned goods with reduced prices, claiming unbeatable value in New Jersey.
Advertisement offers a 45 room boarding house in Asbury Park for 3000 down, 8000 on mortgage at 5 percent, balance on second mortgage at 6 percent. Rents are listed at 1500 with fixed expenses 848, net income over 700. Located at Mattison Ave and Bond St. from Win ing Van Sant.
The State Board of Taxation prepared a comprehensive list of property taxable under New Jersey law and those not taxable. It covers table property such as mortgages on lands, stocks in foreign corporations, personal property of residents, debts from solvent New Jersey residents, and vessel property. It also lists exemptions for United States property, municipal property, churches, and hospital real estate, plus non taxable items like in transit goods and stock in certain financial entities.

Manager Rushton of the Oreos football team writes to Long Branch captain offering a title clash for Monmouth county honors. Oreos claim last year’s wins over Long Branch and Red Bank make them county champions. Locals hope Long Branch and Asbury Park meet to settle the title on neutral ground.
A large group from Asbury Park attended the Princeton Yale football clash, returning by noon train to Princeton Junction. After the 20 to 6 Princeton win, the crowd, including several women, faced a chaotic scramble for trains home with some missing connections and one fainting incident.
The postmaster race in Red Banks nears conclusion with John Bailey as the leading candidate. Other hopefuls include William T. Corlies Walter Noble William H. Houston and Morris Pach. Inside reports narrow the contest to Corlies and Noble.

The J. J. Parker Company plans a three story brick building on Cookman avenue. It will measure fifty by one hundred feet with seven room flats on the upper floors and modern features including steam heat gas range and bath. Architect Cottrell designed an artistic grey brick front and Philip Anns Company will start work immediately with completion aimed for April first.
William Matthews colored, a sixteen-year-old odd job worker, was arraigned before Magistrate Borden on theft charges. He allegedly stole a roll of carpet from Wolf and admitted taking Amos Kimble’s Sunday dinner. Police officer Van Wickle had arrested him recently, and Matthews was found guilty and sentenced to two months in the county jail.
Long Branch defeated the Fort Hanock regulars 5 to 0 last Saturday. The soldiers were not in top condition after last week’s game against the Oreos. Dalton, who plays for the Oreos, also played for the Lodge Branch team.
Counselor James D. Carton will appear before the court this afternoon or tomorrow morning to seek reinstatement of the quashed indictment against Rev. Dr. Henry M. Wharton. He plans to discuss the case with Prosecutor Foster.

A Newark tank collapse floods Unger Brothers building, injuring workers and damaging machinery. A Paterson trolley crash injures several. Plans emerge for South Orange Maplewood trolley with Erie freight gains. Dr Olin L Jenkins expected as Plainfield mayor candidate. Hudson County GOP leader backs Massachusetts ballot reform. Elizabeth Health Board tightens diphtheria measures with strict quarantines and school inspections. Morristown resident Charles G Kip suffers paralysis after prior wrist injury and corrective operation. Several Red Bank residents contract typhoid and are treated at Monmouth Memorial Hospital.
William H. Bannard proprietor of The Reliable Shop assisted in coaching Princeton and watched the Yale Princeton clash from the sidelines. He predicted Yale would win, noted Yale’s height advantage, and praised Princeton’s effort despite the loss.
The kindergarten children of the First Presbyterian Sunday school are asked to give a Thanksgiving offering of fruit next Sunday. Superintendent Miss Edith Mitchell will distribute the offerings to the inmates of Long Branch hospital. The church has held this annual drive for years.
