Presbyterian Church Contract Awarded to Glanfield & Son
The erection contract for a new Presbyterian Church in Asbury Park was awarded to Glanfield & Son of Dixon Ind. for 24,594.08, excluding heating, lighting, fixtures, pews and organ. The main auditorium will be 60 feet square with a Sunday school room 45380, to be finished first. The project uses serpentine stone from Pennsylvania, with Gothic to Romanesque trim. Completion is planned by February next year, with local workers used where possible and the old church moved to a neighboring corner.

Trinity's Great Progress Report At New Brunswick Convention

Pleasure Bay to Point Pleasant Street Railway Planned
The Seashore Traction Company moves to build an electric street railway along the New Jersey coast from Pleasure Bay to Point Pleasant. It will pass through towns including Asbury Park Ocean Grove Belmar and Manasquan with three likely operating stations. Capital stock is 1.5 million dollars. New Skipper for Congdon Purchases Sarge 2 at Auction
Real estate agent Milan Ross bought the three masted schooner Sarge 2 Congdon at Tuesday’s sale for 480. He plans to use the boat to promote Deal Beach lot sales with a large sign on the broadside. Ross hoped to base the vessel on Wesley Lake for excursions, but shallow water and low bridges deterred that plan. He expects to recoup the purchase cost by selling material from the schooner.
