Remains of Rev Dr Ezekiel Scudder Brought North
The body of the late Rev Dr Ezekiel Scudder, who died in San Antonio Texas ten days ago, was moved to Maplewood Cemetery Freehold and placed in the receiving vault. A memorial prayer service was held and the remains will later be laid to rest in the old Tennent church yard near Freehold. On Sunday Feb 23 Rev Dr Stryker will preach a memorial sermon.

Two Horses Killed In Railroad Crossing Accident
A team of horses owned by Jan A Harris were killed when a drill engine struck them at the Summerfield Avenue crossing near West Park. Harris's stage overturned trapping him briefly. He survived with bruises and a sprained hip as workers freed him and track traffic resumed shortly after.

Gravel Road Petition For Asbury Park To Norwood Park
