Artificial Ice Plant Built by Moore and Rogers here
Moore and Rogers of Havre de Grace Maryland and New Castle Delaware have leased Main Street property from H Harley for fifty years to build an artificial ice factory. They will use artesian water for a pure product and erect cold storage facilities. The plant will produce twenty tons daily and operate year round to supply railroad customers. The firm already maintains ice machines in Mexico with government subsidies.

Asbury Park Ice Bath Rescue Involving Five People
Last Friday at Deal Lake a small party of skaters fell through thin ice. Thomas M. Stewart, Alice Barnes, Edward Sexton and others dropped into the cold water, rescuers used boards to pull them out. All retrieved, they suffered only temporary discomfort.

A group of Asbury Parkers led by I W Pike and others joined a New York excursion to Mays Landing near the Great Egg Harbor River where Mars Landing Industrial Association purchased 3000 acres. Train left Jersey City at dawn with Asbury Park contingent boarding in Elizabeth. Dinner followed a tour of local manufactories and brick works planned by Pike. First Vice President D B Harris presided over a meeting at St Pauls Ocean Grove. Evangelist Barker reported 120 converts in a union meeting in South Amboy.
