The contract for Wesley's hose wagon was awarded last Saturday to Fitgribbons Crisp wagon builders of Trenton. The price is $100 and the wagon will be finished within weeks. Other bidders included Michigan Fire Co S B F Hayward Co Meyer & Son representing the Sen grain Manufacturing Co and Gleason Bailey of New York. The wagon will carry a thousand feet of hose and ten firemen. The company has funds to pay on delivery. If authorities insist the borough will own the apparatus and Wesley will sell the wagon to the Borough.
