New Colors for the High School Flag Presentation Planned

William M. Appleton, son of real estate agent Robert Appleton Jr., andLawrence Knickurbocker rode from Deal toward Long Branch when Knickurbocker's horse bolted. Appleton was dragged after his saddle slipped and his boot caught the stirrups, leaving him torn and bleeding but alive.
