A special meeting of the Presbytery of Monmouth was held at Freehold on Tuesday. Rev. Charles W. Neven of Riverton was dismissed to join the Chester Pa. Presbytery. Rev. Charles Everett is released from Englishtown and accepted by Belmar church, to begin early next year and be installed as pastor on the first Wednesday evening in February. The Red Bank Standard reports a town clock subscription drive with over 100 dollars pledged and funds in hand reaching the hundreds.
