Albany Lawyer Dies At Asbury Park In Ocean Bath
James H. Walsh a lawyer from Albany died of heart failure at Fourth Avenue grounds early Saturday morning as he prepared to enter the ocean. He had come to Asbury Park for health and had just put on a salt and talked with friends when overcome he sank. Dr. Marren of Emergency Hospital attempted artificial respiration but could not save him. Walsh served as private secretary to the postmaster Woods of Albany, who is spending the season here. He leaves a wife and no children.

Excursionist John Gagley Dies After Bathing Accident
John Gagley, 85, died at St. Michael's Hospital Newark after injuries from a bathing accident at Asbury avenue. He, a Clark excursionist, plunged from the pier at Wesley Lake, struck his head, and remained unconscious despite hours of treatment by Dr. Marten. Paralyzed from the neck down, he died after being returned to Newark that evening.
