Signup Times Set For Adult Classes In Flagstaff
Wally Quayle announces registration for adult classes in the Flagstaff Community School Program. Signups occur Tuesday at Coconino High School and Guadalupe School, Wednesday at Flagstaff Junior High, and Thursday at East Flagstaff Junior High. A $3 fee plus lab charges apply. Loconino County Board of Supervisors schedules a 5 30 a.m. tax delinquent land sale Monday with 10 a.m. opening featuring planning and zoning recommendations by Scott McClellan, Paul Gunderson and Mark Foster named co winners of the Ida Belle McGin psychology scholarship at Northern Arizona University. The board will also hear a county lighting ordinance proposal from Tachias Weigel and Lindemann for nighttime sky protection. E Z Mills Inc Flagstate marked its tenth anniversary with a luncheon at the Clay Street plant. Started Sept 30 1963 with five seamstresses the operation now employs about 35 staff and plans to add 40 more. Production last year neared 1100 dozen briefs and T shirts daily, with a goal of 2000 dozen after expansion. Several long service employees were honored including seven with more than five years. Continuous staff details note Blanche Montoya Jennie Jimenez Luby Vallapando Irene Kispina and others reaching decade milestones.
