NAU Student Among 111 Die In Alaska Airline Crash
Juneau Alaska authorities reported 111 people died when an Alaska Airlines 727 crashed into a mountain. Among the dead were Mifflin Smith 19 a Northern Arizona University geology student and the son of Dr and Mrs Harry Smith, and a 21 year old University of Arizona senior plus a Tucson soldier stationed in Alaska.
