Youth Cited After Crash Near Mormon Lake Head
Grady Fox, 16, of Camp Verde, suffered minor injuries when the sports car he drove went out of control on Mormon Lake Head near Pinewood 20 miles south of Flagstaff. The vehicle rolled once after leaving the road and skidded about 94 feet in a broadside position. Deputies cited Fox for failure to control his speed. The driver received minor scratches.

Ten Chain Saws Stolen From Camp Trailer Near Flagstaff
Ten chain saws valued at 2250 dollars were taken from a camp trailer in a remote wooded area near the Brannigan Ranch about 20 miles west of Flagstaff during the holiday weekend. Robert Ebers of Overgaard said he was in the area thinning trees under U.S. Forest Service contract and left the trailer locked. Burglary Suspect Held in County Jail
Patrick Sanchez 27 of Flagstaff was arraigned in Flagstaff Justice Court on felony burglary charges before Justice Garcia. Bond set at 3300, Sanchez indigent. Sanchez remains in County Jail. Charges stem from a burglary of Andy's Liquor Store in Flagstaff.

Prescott Arizona residents learn Southwest Forest Product will retire its large cone shaped teepee burner within three months due to Arizona antipollution rules. Truck Passenger Killed Near Kayenta Arizona
A Utah man John Sullivan, 15, of Oljeto Trading Post, died when his pickup ran off U.S. 163 north of Kayenta, overturned twice, ejecting occupants Kenneth Sullivan, 18, also of Oljeto, survived.
