Hopi Indians Assist Forest Fire Crews in California

Twenty five Hopi Indians were flown Tuesday afternoon by air from Bishare California to aid in battling a forest fire near Cleveland National Forest south of Riverside. Kenneth Keeney, supervisor of the California National Forest, reported the blaze after the group arrived. A Phillips, assistant fire district for Coconino, accompanied the Indians to the scene.
