Flagstaff City Council named Dr. Marvin Murray of Northern Arizona University to the Water Use and Utilization Commission for an unexpired term. Nine migrant workers killed in California slayings
Authorities say the bodies of nine transient fruit workers were unearthed in two Yuba City area orchards. Juan Corona, 37, a farm labor contractor, was arrested at a Richland Road home and booked on nine counts of murder. Victims aged 40 to 60 were found in shallow graves, most likely killed five to six weeks ago.
