NAU Plans Summer Workshops And Tours For 1960 Session
Northern Arizona University schedules two week pre summer and two regular sessions from June 1 to Aug 21 with eight blue chip workshops and two Mexico study tours. Courses offer up to six credits for graduates or undergraduates and include education, geology, language, literature, history, music, and sports camps for high school and college students.

Runaway Returned To Prison After Tempe Arrest
William Steven Howard, 24, an Arizona State Prison inmate and 10 15 year armed robbery convict, was captured Thursday night at a friend’s Tempe home. Deputies say prison officials alerted them after receiving a tip he might be there. he was returned to the prison early today. A separate notice: an Orme School Choir Sound of Music concert under Joseph Barclay will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks Sedona. The 27-voice choir from the school will perform A Folk Song Life of Christ with James Price as school chaplain assisting and Mrs. Mike Brockhurst on piano.
