Youngster Hurt When Pickup Backs Over Her
A three year old Flagstaff girl, Amanda Padilla, was struck when a pickup backed over her near 2308 North Main Street. Police said Lorrain Padilla, 6, was backing the truck from a driveway as the child tried to climb into the bed. Amanda was admitted to Flagstaff Community Hospital in apparently minor condition for observation. Recitals were issued in the mishap.

Hijacker Spotted Counting Money In Honduras
A hijacker who fled with 103000 dollars parachuted into northern Honduras and may have escaped into the jungle. Parachute gear was found on Mt Sorocon near Atlantida and Yoro counties. Residents reported a man counting money and wiping sweat before vanishing, with reports of a back pack and suitcase and a shoulder injury. Investigators doubt he left the country.
