Julia Ann Reinus 17 died Sunday in an automobile accident. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Greenlaw Funeral Home with burial in Citizens Cemetery. She was born June 30, 1959 and would have graduated from Coconino High School this month. She worked as a U S Geological Survey secretary in the school program and lettered in volleyball. Surviving are her parents, a sister Jade, a brother Jay, and grandparents Leonard Reinus of Los Angeles. Funeral arrangements by Flagstaff Mortuary. Graveside services for Lester Gore 66 will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Cilleens Cemetery.

Teacher Tells Kiwanis Club About Happy Farms Journey
Marshall School instructor Lee Treece told Flagstaff Kiwanis about the Happy Farms orphanage near Sonoita Mexico. Students carried more than 6000 pounds of food and supplies collected locally with donations from organizations. The drive funded staples and dry foods as perishables are scarce. Orphanage numbers rose from 14 to 26 this year. a milk cow would cost about 900 dollars. Dentists report few cavities, and government aid isn’t provided. Several Flagstaff groups support the orphanage alongside Marshall School, with Ron Jones introducing the speaker and Bob Dickeson presiding.

County Auditor General Team Audits Coconino County
A three auditor team from the Arizona Auditor General’s office arrived in Flagstaff on Monday to begin a routine audit of Coconino County government. County Manager Jack R. Smith said the audit is the county’s first in four years. The team, led by R. Patrick Jacobs, will review all county departments and later prepare a report to be jointly reviewed by the auditor general and county officials before becoming part of the public record.
