Sechrist School PTA hosts its ninth annual book sale in the school gym tonight and Saturday with items half price after noon. Winds rise and rain chances appear, with earlier notes about timing adjusted from 7 to 10 a.m. to 7 to 10 p.m. today.

Four Flagstaff residents were arraigned on marijuana possession for sale charges. Bonds were set at 3200 dollars for Sheldon Cash and Leonard Clark, while Angel Robert Vargas and Danny Vigil were released on their own recognizance. Attorney John Grave represents Cash and Clark, with Steven Udall for Vargas. Vigil will hire his own attorney. The arrests occurred last weekend at an east Flagstaff apartment by the Northern Arizona Metro Squad, a joint Coconino County Sheriff's unit and Flagstaff police.
President Nixon cautioned the Soviet Union and China that U S relations could deteriorate if they continue arming North Vietnam or pressure Hanoi to observe the cease fire.
