Ham Vidrine 43 a Teamsters Union member died Tuesday of an apparent heart attack while driving a truck near Page. Services will be Friday at pm in the Winslow Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Burial will be in the Wire slow Cemetery. He was born in Mo Nary and lived in Winslow before moving to Page about 1 years ago. Survived by wife Barbara two sons James and Richard a Marine in Memphis Tenn two daughters Sedean and Cora Mae of Page a sister Mrs Emma Halt Winslow and a brother Phillip out of state. Friends may call at the church in Winslow from noon to 2 pm tomorrow. Greenlaw Funeral Home in charge.

A funeral will be held Friday at Arlington Cemetery Arlington Virginia at 10:30 a.m. He earned commander rank in World War II and remained in the Navy reserve postwar. Survivors include three children Grady Patricia and Karen all of San Francisco. His wife Ruth also NAU graduate. AP reports a Cochise County deputy died from an accidental gunshot during a mock quick draw at Bowie substation. Deputy J D Smith, 25, was shot by Deputy Danny Alexander. initial accounts claimed self-inflicted fire. No charges. Alexander was dismissed after a three month service. Smith had about one year on the force.
