Private graveside services were held for Dr John Quincy Stewart 77 at Sedona Memorial Park. The Sedona Home for Funerals arranged the services and memorial donations were requested to Sedona Public Library or Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Stewart, Princeton physicist and social physics advocate, retired in 1953 after 42 years on Princeton faculty, and authored books on astronomy and navigation.

Fatal Pedestrian Crash Kills Hessie Yazzie Near Page
The Arizona Highway Patrol identified 38 year old Hessie Jean Yazzie of Tuba City as the victim in a Saturday car pedestrian collision about a mile south of Page on US 89. The incident pushed Arizona's 1972 traffic fatality toll to 169, up 16 from the prior year. Also dying from injuries sustained in a March 7 reserve crash was Elvina Namingha, 27, of Ft Apache, who passed away Monday at a Phoenix hospital after head injuries and multiple fractures.
