Rites Held Tuesday At Williams For EH Duffield 74
Rites were held Tuesday at Williams for EH Duffield age 74 who died in his sleep March 4 at the family home 308 S Ard street after long illness. He was born February 12 1877 and lived in Williams 31 years retiring from the Santa Fe railroad after earlier work with the Rock Island and Burlington systems. Duffield served as telegrapher and station agent before rising to trainmaster and later went into stock raising in northeastern Arizona with operations near Blagett McNary and Theanny. He was survived by his wife and several children.
