Museum Guides Begin Docent iGuide Training Program
The Museum of Northern Arizona starts a Docent iGuide Training Program with a March 8 session to train members as guides. Ten Mondays 12:30 to 2:15 p.m. in Pearson Seminar Hall will be led by curatorial staff under Dr Pyters Ureunig.

The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra under Dr Pat Curry presents an unusual program featuring double bass soloist Gary Karr in Divertimento Concertante on a Ramsier theme and Paganini pieces. The concert at NAU Ardrey Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday at 8 15 p m opens with Wagner Der Fliegende Hollander and includes Paganini Fantasia and Rachmaninoff Symphony No 2. Tickets from the Symphony office or auditorium box office.

Northern Arizona University and the Museum of Northern Arizona will host a four day seminar series June 9 to 13 titled Southwest Bicentennial Celebration. More than 300 historians from the United States and Mexico will participate at NAU and the Flagstaff Holiday Inn. The Arizona Centennial Commission provided a $6,000 Heritage ’78 grant, presented by Audrey Nations to NAU President Lawrence Walkup. Topics include The Territorial Heritage and The Dominguez Escalante Train 1756 1976.
