Bodies found in basement graves shake Blron Center
In Blron Center Michigan a widow Mrs Delphine Downing 25 and her two year old daughter Rainelle were found buried in crude concrete graves. Prosecutor Roger C McMahon of Kent County said a woman admitted involvement and named accomplice. Victim and suspect details include Mrs Martha Beck 29 and Raymond Martinez Fernandez 24. Police reported they had been living at the Downing home.

Friends Plan Memorial Trophy Case For High School
Friends of James M Bedford Jr raise funds this week to buy a trophy case for the high school athletic department. Bedford died from injuries in an automobile crash and funeral services were held Monday. He lived in northern Arizona about 15 years and in Flagstaff seven years. He was general manager of the Saginaw and Manistee Lumber plant here and would have turned 38 in May. Friends asked that flowers be forgone while a permanent memorial is decided.
