California Man Dies In Interstate 40 Crash
A young California man died and four others were seriously injured in a high speed I-40 crash near Flagstaff. Timothy Ryan Bell, 19, Santa Ana, was a passenger in a sports car driven by Floyd M. Luggan, 22, also of Santa Ana. Luggan, who had been driving long hours, reportedly traveled about 85 mph before hitting a guard rail. Bell died at the scene. Luggan and others were injured with initial reports noting head and leg injuries. Luggan was treated and listed in satisfactory condition at Flagstaff Community Hospital.
