PHOENIX AP A Superior Court jury after seven hours found Joseph Clarence Smith guilty of murdering 14 year old Neva Lee whose bound and stabbed body was found in the desert after she ran away from home. Evidence included a knife scalpel rope and tape found at his home. Smith already faces 75 to life for four rapes and will stand trial for the murder of Sandy Spencer found near Whitman on New Year's Eve 1975.
