Couple Killed in Headon Crash in Phoenix
Special to The SUN. Oren Williams 74 and Virginia Williams 58 of Phoenix died in a crash on Northern Ave at 1 26 AM when a car driven by Robert Eugene Williams 31 crossed the centerline and hit their vehicle. Their son Robert Fred Williams 25 was seriously injured and hospitalized.

More Federal Aid for State Courts Urged
COEUR D'ALENE AP The chairman of a group studying federal aid to state courts told the national convention that courts are not getting their fair share of money. John F. X. Irving said state courts amount to a nonsystem of justice and warned that only crime benefits in the war on crime. He noted of the 4 billion appropriation in 1968 about 5 percent went to state courts and that aid to courts is disproportionate to police aid. He warned it is dangerous to upgrade police power without strengthening courts.
