Bus Hijacker Shot After Attack at Tacoma Depot
A knife wielding man attacked five people at a Tacoma bus depot Friday night. He was shot by a bus driver and listed in critical condition. The five victims, all with stab wounds, were in satisfactory condition. The suspect, an 23 year old Tacoma resident, had boarded the bus at Portland Oregon.

Leonard Holt chosen as chairman of the Coconing County Democratic Central Committee following the death of Woodrow R. Crain. AIM Sets Hearing In Flagstaff
A special AIM task force announced hearings in Flagstaff to address racial discrimination and Indian employment housing and welfare issues and to consider forming a local AIM chapter. The event follows a July arrest of seven AIM members after a disruption at the All Indian Pow Wow. Police are probing a burglary in Bow and Arrow Acres where $80, a pill vial of 90 valium tablets and Girl Scout valuables were stolen from a home.
