Holt said the union has not met with Little America representatives but is willing to do so.
County assessor Richard Hillman said the Navaho Generating Station at Page accounts for most of the near 18 million rise in the county's estimated total 19 2 assessed valuation. He noted the plant’s estimated cost around 750 million and predicted the full cash value could double from about 500 million to 1.35 billion once more of the project is completed.
Reykjavik AP report states Bobby Fischer forfeited his chess match with world champion Boris Spassky by not appearing in the playing hall. The forfeiture followed Fischer’s protest against movie cameras in the venue.
