He died Thursday in a Phoenix rest home. The Rev Paul L Baumgartner will officiate Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. A native of Pennsylvania he came to Phoenix Sb years ago and lived at 2398 WV Northview. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. Survived by wife a daughter Mrs Leona Rae Courtney of Thousand Oaks Calif a son C Harold of Phoenix 3 brothers Tum and a sister Mrs Elsie Pipher bur in Pennsylvania and five grainchildren

Gem Society Plans Exhibit At County Fair
Preparatory plans for entries and exhibits in Coconino County fair were begun by the Flagsfair Gem and Minerals Society at a meeting Friday night at the Gem and Minerals Building. The exhibit, open to the public, includes a junior division for pebble puppies and adult rock hounds, with hopes to exceed last year's 48 displays across rough minerals polished stones gems and jewelry. The society meets at 7 20 pm on the first Friday of each month at the Fairgrounds.

Flagstan police arrest Friday night three of twelve teenagers in connection with a stabbing and beating on South San Francisco Street. Victim Delbert Wildbane stabbed in the back and hospitalized overnight, later released.
