Safford Man Indicted for Tax Evasion
Tucson AP reports Louis F. Long of Safford indicted by a federal grand jury on five counts of income tax evasion totaling 106334 for 1952 53. He allegedly aided his three children Frances Phoenix Shirley Jean Safford and Robert Tucson in fraudulent returns. 9976 attributed to the children. Long publishes the Graham County Guardian weekly and runs theatres and radio stations statewide.

Requiem Mass Set For Flagstaff Woman
A requiem high mass will be performed Friday at 9 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for Mrs. Virginia Romero Hernandez a Flagstaff resident for 55 years who died Monday in Phoenix after a long illness. A Rosary will be held tonight at Flagstaff Mortuary. Fr James Lindenmeyer will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
