NAU Creative Arts Festival Showcases Wide Variety of Events
Northern Arizona University hosts a three day Creative Arts Festival in the Creative Arts Center with workshops exhibits and performances in art music drama and journalism. Highlights include Manuel Lopez Ramos February 4 recital and a benefit performance of Night of the Iguana by the NAU Speech Theatre department. Tickets are $2 for students $3 for others.

Council Okays Effluent Use Pact For 25 Years
The Flagstaff City Council approved an agreement with Vila Trading Company to deliver treated effluent from Wildcat Hill to Vila for 25 years. Vila will operate an outside water line serving five customers including Vita, carrying fresh water up to 400,000 pale tons per month to Vita and other users. The city will provide effluent to Vita at no cost, with Vita funding the new water line and facilities. The old plant effluent had been contracted to Continental Country Club.

Visitation Thursday 4 to 7 p m at Flagstaff Mortuary. Owens born November 9 1931 in Mansfield Ohio came to Peoria in 1963 from Ohio later to Flagstaff in 1968 and worked for General Tire then Dye Oxygen Co. Navy veteran Korean War, American Legion member. Survived by wife Olivia Medina and children Rochelle 13 and Mark 12 both of Gablion Ohio, parents Vernon and Marble head Ohio, five brothers and two sisters out of state.
