Boy Injured In Accident Near Old Armory

A 13 year old boy, Riedsird Urias, son of Mr and Mrs Tom Urias, was struck by a car driven by Exile B Brown while returning from Guadalupe School in Flagstaff. The vehicle allegedly failed to stop at a red light and the boy was treated at Flagstaff Hospital for minor injuries before being released. The incident has prompted Father James Lindenmeyer to press for traffic improvements at a six approach intersection and Highway 11G 89 in hopes of reducing future accidents. City and state officials have been contacted, with police promising extra patrols during school hours.
