Jury Indicts Policeman in Prisoner’s Death
AP report from Flagstaff states Navajo Police Officer Leonard T. Jackson was indicted on a charge of striking and assaulting a prisoner who died April 15. A separate grand jury indicted George Dashne, a Hopi, on burglary and attempted larceny charges involving McGee's Trading Post at Keams Canyon.

Ship Burns and 16 Missing Amid tanker disaster off Sardinia
