Flagstaff Ambulance Service introduces its newest full time medical vans to replace aging units. A demonstration shows a resuscitator to be installed in the three ambulances as part of modernization efforts.
Flagstaff Ambulance Service, the citys only emergency unit, operates seven to eight trips monthly to the Phoenix area and recently added a third ambulance. The crew of Rusty Heil Danny Chavez and Carl Pederson emphasize rapid response with three fully equipped vehicles and a part time medical team to improve patient care en route to hospitals.

The Arizona Bank directors set a four percent stock dividend to be distributed February 26 to shareholders of record February 2. A Yuma County jury awarded Marion Wallmark a 150000 judgment against Uniroyal Tire Co for injuries from May 1970 when a tire blew out on his vehicle causing a crash. Lakey Brothers Tire was dismissed from the case. Wallmark, formerly of Tucson, argued the tire was defective and tubeless when a tube should have been used, with the vehicle overturning while hauling earth near Heron Dam in New Mexico.
