J J W Lewellen 47 owner of Continental Motors in Flagstaff and Seligman died Monday of a heart attack. Services and burial at Jackson Funeral Home Newport Arkansas later this week. Born January 22 1924 in Newport he came to Flagstaff in 1965 from Arkansas and worked at Flag Dodge before running Continental Motors. He is survived by his wife Emma two sons Donnie and Dewayne three daughters Anna Carol Howard three sisters and six grandchildren. Flagstaff Mortuary in charge.

Filing Deadline Tonight for Dem Delegates
AP reports the deadline to file for delegates to the Democratic State Convention arrives tonight. The party will meet January 29 at 76 locations to choose district delegates, 12 to 26 per district, for the state convention.
