Last Rites for Vite Adragna Set in Flagstaff
Funeral services for Vite Adragna 70 who died after a heart attack at Flagstaff Community Hospital will be Friday at 10 am at St Pius Catholic Center. A rosary is planned for 8 pm today at Flagstaff Mortuary with viewing this afternoon. Adragna, born in Sicily in March 1900, lived in Flagstaff a year and a half after earlier residing in Nutley New Jersey. He immigrated to the United States in 1920 and became a citizen in 1946. He is survived by his wife Rosa three sons Joseph Frank and Vito Jr two daughters Catherine and Mary Ann one brother in Sicily and 10 grandchildren. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flagstaff.

A Winslow resident, Connie McBride, escaped injury when her trailer at Bushman Acres on TUG French Road burned early Wednesday. The fire started near a water heater, spreading to the back bedroom. she suffered first degree burns on one hand while fleeing. It is the second time a fire has started in that area of the trailer. McBride temporarily stays with her daughter and son-in-law, the Atkinsons, nearby.

Pioneer Hotel Youth Faces Jan Hearing in Fire Deaths
In Tucson Pima County Superior Court Judge Lloyd Cc. Helm set a January 25 hearing for Louis Taylor Jr. in a juvenile case linked to the Pioneer International Hotel fire that killed 28. Prosecutors said a transfer to adult court may follow. Taylor, a four-time parolee from Fort Grant, has been in custody since his arrest on a trespass charge the night of the blaze.

Sedona funeral services were held for Kenneth R Anderson 68 who died Tuesday at Marcus J Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Cottonwood after a brief illness. A winter resident of Sedona he owned Interstate Tire Co in Seattle and had lived there with his wife Dorothy for five winters. Surviving are his wife and his mother Helen Anderson of Seattle. Cremation followed.
