Physical aptitude examinations for prospective West Point candidates will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Arizona National Guard Armory on N. Thorpe Drive. Capt. Martin D. Gasler will administer the test as part of a cooperative program between the academy and the National Guard. The test helps determine eligibility for the class entering West Point in July 1974, with February and March sessions planned. Robert Cavanaugh, 53, a Northern Arizona University personnel employee, died Wednesday at Flagstaff Community Hospital. A memorial service is set for Saturday 1 p.m. at Flagstaff Mortuary Chapel. He was born December 8, 1919 in New York and played college football at Colorado State. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he lived in Flagstaff the past decade and is survived by his wife Elizabeth and three sons. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
