Williams School Board Elects Dent President and Bard Clerk
The Williams School Board named Jack Dent president and Doug Bard clerk at a recent meeting. They approved the 1971-72 school calendar and plan to attend the Phoenix convention January 28 and 29. A committee including Miles Cureton and Mrs. Harry Hershide was formed to study a school lunch program and related funding opportunities. Superintendent Starr noted federal lunches could bring per meal and per-child subsidies, but a $10,000 equipment outlay and Vocational Education obligations must be addressed first.

Police Hold City Man on 3 Charges
A Flagstaff man, Fred Kozlowski, 34, is jailed on three charges including disturbing the peace driving while intoxicated and speeding after a city crash and subsequent hospital disturbance. Kozlowski spat at a doctor and was involved in a ER disturbance with companion Peter Mayer. Mayer, 21, Northern Arizona University, was booked for disturbing the peace and released on 56 bond. Kozlowski’s court appearance was set for today.

Mrs. Crane Last Rites Held Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Molly H. Crane 84 were held at St. Marys Catholic Church Winslow. She died Tuesday at Winslow Memorial Hospital after a heart attack while visiting her daughter. Cremation burial followed at St. Francis Cemetery. She came to Arizona in 1950 living in Phoenix Camp Verde and other towns. Survived by three daughters Kathleen Thiel Winslow Mary Allyn Helen Wilson California one son Joseph H. Crane Phoenix and 13 grandchildren.

Alfred Linke Services Set In Cottonwood
Alfred J. Linke died Wednesday morning at his home. A 2 p.m. Saturday funeral will be in the Chapel of the Gardens in Cottonwood with Masonic burial at Clarkdale Cemetery. He lived in the Williams and Flagstaff area, worked for the Arizona State Highway Department, and retired in Clarkdale a year ago. He is survived by his wife Jessie and two daughters living out of state.

Blohm-Stone Memorial Fund Reaches $500 Mark in Flagstaff
Flagstaff residents contributed to the Blohm-Stone Memorial Fund raising $500 for the families of two police officers killed after Christmas. Police Chief Elmo E. Maxwell said about $1,000 may go to the Phoenix memorial fund to aid the families of Albert Bluhm and Date C. Stone. Fund organizers are Mrs. Patricia Giovando and Mrs. Raycee Gray, with contributions accepted at the court or by police officers.
